An unweighted GPA is calculated on a 4.0 scale regardless of course difficulty. A weighted GPA adds "bonus points" for advanced courses like AP, IB, or Honors. For example, an 'A' in an AP class might be worth 5.0 points instead of the standard 4.0. Our tool supports both calculation methods via the Settings tab.
The Goal Seeker helps you determine what grades you need in your future courses to reach a target CGPA. Simply enter your desired CGPA and the number of credits you have remaining. The tool will calculate the exact average GPA you need to maintain to achieve your academic goal.
