Our tool automatically displays the specific formula used for conversions between Celsius, Fahrenheit, Kelvin, Rankine, and Réaumur, helping students understand the math behind the numbers.
Our tool uses high-precision floating-point arithmetic (up to 15 decimal places) for calculations. By default, results used to display 4 decimal places, but you can adjust this in the Settings tab to see up to 10 decimal places or switch to scientific notation for extremely large/small values.
